Grade Ready uses data to run the website, apps, support, purchases, analytics, and related collector workflows. This policy now covers Firebase and Google Analytics, website cookies, support forms, Apple purchases, and AdMob where ads are enabled.
We use analytics to understand app and website usage, reliability, purchases, feature adoption, and performance.
Some related Grade Ready apps or surfaces may use Google AdMob to show, measure, and protect ads.
Support form messages are delivered to a private inbox server-side and are used to respond to requests.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Grade Ready website, the Grade Ready mobile app, and related Grade Ready apps, tools, and services, including card grading, collection, market research, authenticity, and card-analysis experiences. Some apps or features may have additional in-app notices, App Store privacy labels, or consent prompts. If an app-specific notice says something different for a specific feature, that more specific notice controls for that feature.
Information You Provide or Create
Depending on how you use Grade Ready, we may process information you choose to enter, capture, import, or send, including collection records, watchlist items, sold or trade details, card notes, grading reports, scan results, authenticity review inputs, support messages, and photos or images you choose to capture or import. These items are used to provide the features you request.
If you contact us through the website or a support form, we may receive your name, email address, message, device or app details you provide, screenshots, and other information included in the request. We use support information to respond, investigate issues, prevent abuse, and improve Grade Ready.
App Analytics
Grade Ready uses Firebase Core and Google Analytics for Firebase in the iOS app. These services help us understand app launches, sessions, screen views, premium purchase and restore flow performance, offer-code flow performance, approximate region, device and app version context, reliability signals, and feature adoption. We use this information to improve the app, prioritize fixes, and understand which workflows are useful.
Firebase and Google Analytics may use app-level identifiers, app-instance identifiers, device and app information, product interaction data, approximate location, purchase-event context, and diagnostics. Grade Ready’s current app privacy posture is not to use Apple-defined tracking for the main Grade Ready app, and the current iOS privacy manifest declares tracking as false. If a future app or ad-supported surface uses different tracking or consent behavior, we will update the related disclosures.
We do not intentionally send card names, photos, scans, grading notes, collection notes, or trade details to Firebase Analytics as custom event payloads.
The current Grade Ready iOS disclosures cover identifiers, product interaction, coarse location, purchase history, user content used for app workflows, and support information when users contact us. These categories are used for app functionality, analytics, purchase access, support, and service reliability.
Advertising and Google AdMob
Some Grade Ready apps, related apps, or future surfaces may use Google AdMob or Google advertising services to show ads, measure ad performance, limit abuse, prevent invalid traffic, and understand ad engagement. Where AdMob is enabled, Google may process information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers when available and permitted, app interactions, ads viewed, diagnostics, crash or performance data, approximate location, and consent or ad-personalization choices.
AdMob may be used for personalized or non-personalized ads depending on the app, region, consent choices, device settings, and Google settings. You can manage ad personalization through your device settings and Google controls such as My Ad Center and partner ads settings. If a consent prompt appears in an app, the choices shown there also apply to the ad or analytics technologies described in that prompt.
Website Analytics, Cookies, and Forms
The Grade Ready website may use WordPress, Contact Form 7, security and hosting providers, Google Analytics, Google Site Kit, MonsterInsights, Jetpack, Cloudflare, or similar service providers to operate the site, measure page performance, understand traffic, protect forms, and respond to support requests. These tools may use cookies, pixels, local storage, IP address, browser information, device information, page URLs, referrers, and interaction events. See the Cookie Policy for more detail.
Photos, Scans, and Card Content
Photos and scans are used for card scanning, grading review, authenticity review, saved reports, and related workflows. Avoid including personal information in images you capture or import. Grade Ready does not sell or rent your photo content.
Market, Search, and Pricing Requests
Some features request market, search, grading, or card-reference information from Grade Ready services or service providers. These requests are used to return card data, price context, market signals, and related app functionality. Market data is informational and may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or changed by the underlying source.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Premium purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, receipts, refund requests, and offer-code redemptions are handled through Apple and StoreKit. Apple may process payment information and account information under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Grade Ready receives purchase status and related transaction context needed to unlock paid features, support purchases, and measure purchase-flow reliability.
How We Use Information
- Provide card scanning, grading review, authenticity review, collection, portfolio, market, research, trade, and master-set features.
- Maintain and improve app performance, reliability, security, support, and collector workflows.
- Understand app launches, sessions, product interaction, feature adoption, and purchase-flow health through analytics.
- Show, measure, and protect ads where an app or surface uses AdMob or advertising services.
- Respond to support requests and investigate issues.
- Detect abuse, prevent fraud, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.
- Unlock Premium features and verify purchase status.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Grade Ready, including hosting, security, analytics, advertising where enabled, support, market-data, app-platform, and payment providers. This may include Google/Firebase for app and website analytics, Google AdMob for advertising where enabled, Apple for App Store purchases, Cloudflare for site security and routing, WordPress-related providers for the website and forms, and service providers that help return market or card-reference data.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
Your Choices
You can stop using Grade Ready, delete app data from your device, manage purchases through Apple, adjust iOS privacy and advertising settings, reset or limit advertising identifiers where available, manage cookie settings in your browser, and use Google analytics or ad-personalization controls where applicable. You can contact us through the support page with privacy questions or deletion requests.
Data Retention and Security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app and website, support your collection workflows, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, protect the service, and improve Grade Ready. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
Grade Ready is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us through the support page.
Changes
We may update this policy as Grade Ready, related apps, analytics, advertising, purchases, or website services change. The effective date above shows when this version became active.
