Grade Ready Accessibility

Built to stay usable when the interface has to adapt.

GradeReady supports collectors who rely on assistive technology, larger text, reduced motion, stronger contrast, and non-color status cues while grading, researching, tracking, and trading cards.

Last updated: June 5, 2026.

Supported in GradeReady

These features are supported across GradeReady’s common iPhone tasks, including collector home, portfolio, grading, card research, Market Pulse, app settings, and Premium purchase flows.

Hands freeVoice Control

GradeReady uses standard buttons, links, toggles, text fields, and labeled custom controls for core tasks so users can navigate and activate primary actions with Voice Control.

TextLarger Text

The app supports Dynamic Type and includes an in-app Larger Text setting that raises core app text into accessibility sizes while favoring wrapping and reflow over clipping.

ThemeDark Interface

GradeReady is designed around a dark collector workspace and includes a persistent Dark Interface setting for lower-glare card scanning, grading review, and market research.

StatusDifferentiate Without Color Alone

Status surfaces use text, icons, outlines, checkmarks, and shape cues alongside color so movement, selection, warnings, and state changes are not communicated by color alone.

ContrastSufficient Contrast

The Sufficient Contrast setting strengthens panels, strokes, text emphasis, and app accents. High-contrast mode also suppresses decorative premium effects that can reduce readability.

MotionReduced Motion

Reduced Motion disables app-wide animations where possible and prevents premium background motion from running while users complete grading, research, collection, and settings workflows.

Where to turn settings on

GradeReady includes an Accessibility section inside Settings, separate from the standard iOS Accessibility settings. Users can combine both for the setup that works best for them.

Inside GradeReady

  • Open GradeReady.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Open Accessibility.
  • Turn on Dark Interface, Sufficient Contrast, Differentiate Without Color, Reduced Motion, Color Blind Mode, or Larger Text.

Inside iOS

  • Open the iPhone Settings app.
  • Go to Accessibility.
  • Use Voice Control, Display & Text Size, Motion, and related system settings as needed.

Captions and audio descriptions

No in-app dialogue media at launch

GradeReady does not currently include dialogue-based video or audio content inside the app, so Captions and Audio Descriptions are not listed as supported App Store accessibility labels at launch. If in-app media is added later, this page will be updated before those features ship.

Image-heavy workflows

Card images still matter

GradeReady works with trading card photos, scans, artwork, and seller images. The app labels surrounding controls, card names, prices, grading details, and actions, but the visual inspection of a card image may still depend on the quality and availability of the image supplied by the user or marketplace source.

Accessibility feedback helps shape the app.

If an assistive technology workflow is not working well, send the screen, feature, and device details so we can prioritize the fix.
